Lonnie J. Richardson, 79, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Western Plains Medical Complex in Dodge City. He was born on May 13, 1933 in Haggard, the son of Amos and Marion (Wilson) Richardson.
Lonnie graduated from Ensign High School. On November 14, 1954, he married Lorraine Flowers at Cimarron. He farmed in Gray County and worked at the COOP in Haggard for 39 years and was manager for many years. Lonnie loved his grandkids and watching them play softball at Dodge City High School and basketball at Ingalls High School. He was as avid KU basketball fan.
He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Dodge City.
Lonnie is survived by his wife, Lorraine Richardson of Dodge City; three sons, Rocky Richardson and wife Chris of Guymon, Okla., Brad Richardson and wife Clarice of Ingalls, and Brian Richardson of Studio City, Calif.; five grandchildren, Lyndsay Cossell and husband Jared, Kaci Richardson, Carly Richardson, Lance Richardson, and Jerica Lamm and husband Jesse; and one great-granddaughter, Camdyn Cossell.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jackie and Reid Richardson.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 25, 2013 at the First Christian Church, Dodge City with Mr. Jeff Hiers presiding. Burial will follow at Cimarron Cemetery in Cimarron. Visitation will be from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Swaim Funeral Home in Dodge City.

PROTECTION- Richard Leroy Dome, 70, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at his residence in Hutchinson, Kan.
Funeral service is at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 23, 2013, at the Protection Christian Church, Protection, Kan. Burial will be at Protection Cemetery, Protection.
