Bertis Kreutzer, 52, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at his farm residence near Kingsdown. He was born June 25, 1960, at Scott City, Kan. to Walter and Frances (Baker) Kreutzer.
He was a longtime Ford County resident and a Farmer/Stockman.
He graduated from Wichita County High School in 1978 and Ft. Hays State in 1982.
On November 24, 1988 he married Beverly Ann Hood in Las Vegas, Nev. She survives.
Survivors include a son, Bubba of Bucklin; two daughters, Sarah of Spearville and Samantha of Stillwater, Okla.; three brothers, Jerry and wife Lisa, Kent and wife Stephanie all of Derby Kan., and Mark and wife Janel of Wichita; brothers-in-law, Brady Hood and wife Kim of Liberal, Leigh Hood and wife Lisa of Bucklin, and Ralph Hood of Aurora, Colo.; eight nieces; and seven nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a step-daughter, Paige Nicole Estes.
Funeral Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Spearville officiated by Fr. Ted Stoecklein. Burial will be in Bucklin Cemetery.
The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 29, at Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin.
