Judith A. Moore, 70, died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses. She was born May 19, 1942 at Garden City, Kan., to Kenneth Richard and Leila Ruth (Humphrey) Hagler.
On May 18, 1991 she married Billy L. Moore at Winfield.
Judith attended her early schooling in Deerfield. In 1952 she moved to Dodge City and graduated with the class of 1960 from Dodge City High School. She went to modeling school in Denver and then moved back to Dodge City and worked for 17 years as Deputy County Clerk for Ford County. In 1983 she moved to Garden City and then after her marriage in 1991 moved to the family farm in Kearny County. She was a longtime member and president for 10 years of the P.E. O. and enjoyed bowling.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Michelle and Pat Marino, Sioux Falls, S.D., and Shawna Jury, Lakin; two step-daughters, Sonja Perreault, Newcastle, Okla., and Jan Schiffelbein, San Antonio, Texas; her mother, Leila Hagler, Lakin; two brothers, Gordon and Patty Hagler, Atlanta, Ga., and Bradley and Sheril Hagler, Gladstone, Mo.; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Per Judith's request, no services will be held.
