The Dodge City Lady Demons continue to find their groove on the pitch after their slow start, beating the Liberal Lady Redskins 3-0 in Monday afternoon Western Athletic Conference action at Memorial Stadium.
The victory was the fourth win in a row for the Lady Demons (4-5, 2-1 WAC), as they dominated play for most of the game.
The Lady Demons opened up scoring just before halftime in the 37th minute on a goal by Mercedes Sanchez on an assist by Aaliyah Reyes.
Reyes scored the second Dodge City in the 46th minute on an assist by Cynthia Rodela. Scarlett Real scored the final goal on an assist by Rodela in the 59th minute to complete the rout.
Dodge City returns to action today with a road game against Wichita Trinity; the first of three straight away games for the Lady Demons.
