Dodge City's Mariano Rossi won the individual medalist honors to lead the Conquistadors to the NJCAA District III men's golf championships at Sand Creek Station Golf Course.
The Conqs shot 906 as a team to win the team title by four strokes over Indian Hills (Iowa) in the 54-hole tournament. Hutchinson finished third in the standings (923) and Jayhawk Conference champion Johnson County finished fifth at 947.
Rossi shot four-over 220 to beat Indian Hills' Kevin Workman by a stroke after being tied after two rounds. Duane Russell also had a top-ten finish for Dodge City with a 231. Other scores for the Conqs include Parker Dolzeal (233), Trevor Torgerson (234) and Ryan Hand (241).
The Conqs will play in the NJCAA national tournament will take place May 12-17 at the Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas.
