The Dodge City Rangers had been looking for a long time to reclaim their home tournament at the Bob Coffin Invitational.
The Rangers rarely had any problems this weekend by giving up only one run in four games to keep the trophy in town.
After beating Ulysses (9-1) and Hooker 4-0) in pool play, Dodge City continued their dominating pitching on Sunday with an 8-0 victory over Valley Center and an 11-0 victory over Liberal in the championship game.
Andrew Balderaz was the winning pitcher in the victory over Valley Center and Austin Weiser threw for the Rangers in the championship victory over Liberal.
More information will be in Tuesday's print and online media editions of The Globe.
