Richard Ray Lochmann, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born April 20, 1973 in Dodge City, Kansas and moved to Flagstaff in 1972. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Nancy; his children Stacy (Paul) Lochmann-Rhodes of Port Arthur, TX, Lance of Columbia, MO, Lincoln of Dodge City, KS, Kate (Brian) Hope of Prescott, AZ and Nate of Brooklyn, NY, brother Don Daniel (Beverly) of Portland, TX, sisters Bonnie Rudzik of Ulysses, KS, and Julie, Janis Anderson and Jorgie Dreiling, (David), of Hays, KS. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Richard very proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1955 to 1959. He also served in the National Guard from 1953 to 1955, and in the Navy Reserves from 1959 to 1963. Richard had a great love for the outdoors. he particularly enjoyed walking with his dogs and hiking the Grand Canyon. He will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul who loved all animals and never met a stranger.
