  • Martin L. Haskell, 83, died July 26, 2013 in Wichita. He was born Dec. 6, 1929 in Beaver County, OK, the son of Orville and Della Keever Haskell. He was owner of Haskell Bros. Trucking. He belonged to St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kansas Motor Carriers, and the Moose Lodge, Dodge City.

  • Martin L. Haskell, 83, died July 26, 2013 in Wichita. He was born Dec. 6, 1929 in Beaver County, OK, the son of Orville and Della Keever Haskell. He was owner of Haskell Bros. Trucking. He belonged to St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kansas Motor Carriers, and the Moose Lodge, Dodge City. On Dec. 24, 1992 he married Rita A. Burkhart in Offerle. She survives. Other survivors include 9 sons, Darwin, Haviland, Gary, Doug, Mike and Darrell, all of Kinsley, Barry, Topeka, Danny, Great Bend, Brad and David, Dodge City; 2 daughters, Joy Ditges, Offerle, Jayme Polson, Kinsley; stepson, Bob Cain, Kinsley; 2 stepdaughters, Melody Linkugel, Kinsley, Misty Arnce, Muskogee, OK; brother, Bob, Chandler, AZ; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Preceding him in death was a brother, Cletus, AR and sister, Thelma Jones, CA. Vigil service was Monday, July 29 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Kinsley. Funeral was Tuesday, July 30 at the church with Father John Strasser presiding.  Memorials may be sent to Harry Heinz Hospice, in care of McKillip Funeral Home, 623 Marsh, Kinsley, KS 67547.
