  • The Dodge City Daily Globe welcomed a new staff member on Monday. Chris Guinn has joined the newsroom as a general news reporter.

    Guinn hails from St. Petersburg, Fla. and is a graduate of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg College, where he studied journalism.

  • The Dodge City Daily Globe welcomed a new staff member on Monday. Chris Guinn has joined the newsroom as a general news reporter. Guinn hails from St. Petersburg, Fla. and is a graduate of the University of South Florida St. Petersburg and St. Petersburg College, where he studied journalism. Previously Guinn worked in IT but his passion for news drew him to journalism. He has worked as Managing Editor of his college newspaper The Crow’s Nest and has done freelance reporting for The Tampa Bay Times and The Wall Street Journal. Guinn said he has a passion for local news and aspires to be a good city reporter. Guinn has an older brother back home in Florida and a younger sister in Atlanta. He married his wife Molly in March.
