The Dodge City High bowling teams lost to Garden City in Western Athletic Conference action in a triangular at Spare Tyme Bowl Lanes with Holcomb. The Red Demons scored one point out of a possible 11 team points against the Buffaloes. Dodge City lost in the series to Garden City 2,622-2,413 and two of the three Bakers' series. The total pin scores were 3,240 for the Buffaloes and 2,992 for the Red Demons. Holcomb bowled a 1,641 series and scored 2,109 total pins. Kaden Herbert missed his third straight 700 series by one pin after bowling games of 216, 247 and 236. Jaden Fleener also averaged over 200 on the day with a 607 series (204 in the first game and 217 in the second). Other scores for the Red Demons include Zachary Ridgeway at 562 (200 in the first game), Shawn Burton 510, Dalton Krayenhagen 467 and Jan Korba 398. The Lady Demons also scored one team against the Lady Buffaloes in their match. Dodge City was beaten in series play 2,132-1,936; but picked up one point in the Bakers' series as well. Holcomb scored 1,595 in seres play and 2,004 total in the triangular. Amanda Simmons led the Lady Demons with a 611 series (including a 214 in the second game and 225 in the third). Katlyn Tabor recorded a 475 series, while Ashley Hewes rolled 416, Mirissa Martinez 409, Cecelia Wiser 371 and Samantha Reyes 354. The Red Demons next action will be Saturday at the Maize Invitational.
