  • Rebels score 99 in win over Larks

  • The South Gray Rebels recorded their third victory in four days with a 99-70 victory over the Sublette Larks in Tuesday night action. The Rebels — who clinched the Southern Plains-Iroquois Activities Association with a victory Monday night at Ashland after beating Fowler on Saturday — hit 10 three-point baskets on the way to the victory. South Gray (15-3) led 45-37 at halftime and closed out the game with 31 points in the final quarter. Jake Peters scored 28 points to lead the Rebels in scoring. Four other players scored in double figures for South Gray in the win: Carson Skidmore and Michael Martens scored 16 apiece, Luke Skinner 13 and Tate Skinner with 12. Trevor Leverett led Sublette (5-12) with 20 points, while Sabastian Morales added 14, and Andrew Lower and Johny Martens scored 11 apiece for the Larks. The Timberwolves had won their previous four games before losing to Spearville.
