The area will be represented by a number of the area's top basketball players this weekend at the Kansas Basketball Coaches Association all-star games Saturday at Kansas Wesleyan University's Mabee Gymnasium.

Among the boys who will be playing for the white team include Meade's Morgan Davis (a signee at Dodge City Community Coillege), Ashland's Grant Meininger (who signed with Pratt Community College) and St. John's Kade Kinnamon (a Seward County signee).

Also slated to play in the boys game for the blue team is Coffeyville Field Kindley's James Newton (a DCCC signee) and Goddard Eisenhower's Trevon Evans (who signed at Pratt).

St. John head coach Clint Kinnamon will be the head coach of the white team.

Bucklin's Morgan Hood (a Fort Hays State volleyball signee) will be playing for the blue team in the girls game, while Pratt's Jenson Maydew and Great Bend's Morgan Harwood will participate for the white squad.

The girls game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m., with the boys game to follow.
