Tip of the Week
Small changes can dramatically improve the look and functionality of your bathroom without breaking the bank or calling a contractor. Here are some fast fixes for a fabulous bath that typically cost less than $100 and take less than an hourís work.
* Extra elbow room in the shower - Curved shower rods, long associated with luxurious hotel baths, are easy to install, some without the need for any tools, drilling or assembly. Just expand the rod to your desired length, add tension, and snap on the decorative covers and youíre done.
* Sensational showerheads - Donít settle for a subpar spray ó upgrading your shower head is simple. Just unscrew your current shower fixture, wrap some plumberís tape around the arm and screw on the new shower head. A rainshower is an excellent choice to provide quality coverage with a luxurious touch.
*Admirable accessories - Adding simple storage solutions, such as hooks, towel bars, towel rings and shelves can add some sanity and style to your bath without delivering a big hit to your bank account.
Between the cooler weather, football season and autumn holidays, itís tempting to decorate your home too much at this time of year. Your home will show better, though, with simpler decor. A wreath on the front door and a few potted plants inside put the focus on the house, not the decorations.
