James to celebrate 100th

Gladys P. James will celebrate her 100th birthday Saturday.  She was born April 11, 1909 in Cimirron to Joseph and Laura Ackley. She married Myrl L. James at Dodge City in 1927. He passed away September 1984. Her children and spouses are Floyd and Bonnie Loughrige, Larned and Merlyn and Susan James, Topeka. She has five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
