     A mix of good weather and bad economy seems to have kept Dodge Citians near home for this year's Dodge City Days.
    "Overall, it was tremendous," said Gina Broeckelman, director of operations for the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce.
    The 10-day festival wrapped up Sunday after the championship round of the PRCA rodeo at Dodge City Roundup Arena. But that doesn't mean organizers are sitting back and sipping mai tais.
    Planning for next year already began mid-June — over a month before this year's events were scheduled to even begin.
