Ramona and Darrell Finkeldei were recently denied a $35,000 revolving loan for their business from the Ford County Commission, which decided the couple did not have enough assets to back the loan.
The couple attempted to acquire the loan as an investment in operating capital.
“We were hoping to make my back room functional with more shelves and to hire two staff (members), then we could open on Monday, too," Ramona said. "We could utilize the loans to secure our business against down days.”
