The stockholders and board of directors of Star Lumber and Supply Co., Inc. announced two senior promotions this week.
• Christopher J. Goebel, a 36-year Star veteran and grandson of Star’s founder Earl Goebel, who has served as President/CEO since 1989, has been named Chairman of the Board and CEO. Chris replaces former Board Chairman Robert L. Goebel, who will continue to serve as a member of the Star Board.
• Patrick M. Goebel, a 20-year Star veteran and also a grandson of Earl Goebel, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Star’s Building Material group, has now been named President and COO. Patrick also joins Star’s Board of Directors, replacing his father, Michael, a 45-year Star veteran, who will continue in an advisory position.
