Cab wars: Dodge man seeks injunction against former employee

   Cab wars are common in big cities like New York or Los Angeles — but in Dodge City?
    Believe it.
    The Stagecoach Taxi firm is seeking an injunction against former driver Daniel Mendez, alleging that Mendez violated the non-compete clause of his agreement when he started his own taxi company, Guerrero Taxi. The agreement says that if Mendez leaves Stagecoach Taxi for any reason, he cannot own or operate a taxi for at least five years.
    Mendez quit working for Stagecoach Taxi on June 19 and then started his own company, violating his agreement with his former boss, according to the lawsuit. The lawsuit said that Stagecoach owner Dusty Herring has asked Mendez to stop operating his taxi service, but Mendez refused.
