Local student selected for Who's Who

    Krissa Denae Smith, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Quincy L. Smith, Ensign, has been selected to appear in the 2008 edition of Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.
    A 2008 graduate of Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC., Smith was on of 67 students from the University student body honored this year for academic achievement, campus leadership, service to the community, and potential for continued success.
    Smith graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in print journalism.  She served as president and chaplain of Chi Sigma Phi society.  She was also a member of the school newspaper staff, and was a representative on the Family and Consumer Sciences Council, visited the elderly at a nursing home, helped children with disabilities participate in relay races, participated in the bus ministry at her church, and taught children in a Bible club.
    Who's Who recipients are selected from students at more than 2000 institutions of higher learning in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and several foreign countries.
