DODGE CITY —
Some Miller School parents went back to class yesterday.
Fourth-grade social studies class, to be exact.
The parents did so well in Mary Ketzner's lesson about the population growth of the southeastern United States, that the teacher let them go out for recess with the other students.
After recess, the parents got in line along with everyone else and trooped off to the cafeteria for a plate of hot lasagna.
It was a great day to be in the fourth grade.
Everyone cooperated, everyone listened, everyone shared, and everyone learned.
Then, everyone got lasagna.
School doesn't get much better than that.
