Rick and Janie Belt of Ulysses announce the engagement of their daughter, Rykki Renae Belt, to Cole Tepe, the son of Greg and Kim Tepe of Spearville.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Rosie and the late Juan Perez of Lakin; Clyde and Sharon Belt of Lakin; and the late Billie Belt of Lakin. Her fiance is the grandson of Kenneth and Carol Miller of Fairview, Okla.; and the late Karen and Harold Tepe of Spearville. His great-grandparents are Dudie Redway and Ollie Eck, both of Fairview.
The bride-to-be graduated from Ulysses High School and from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in biological and agricultural engineering with an emphasis in environmental engineering. She is employed as an environmental and regulatory advisor at ExxonMobil in Houston.
Her fiance graduated from Spearville High School and from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in biological and agricultural engineering. He is employed by Schlumberger in College Station, Texas.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 19, 2009, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses.
