Gary and Kelly Gillespie, Copeland, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their son, Travis Gillespie, to Kristin Racine, daughter of Lenny and Jan Racine, Spring Valley, IL.
The prospective groom is a 2001 graduate of South Gray High School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in 2005 and will graduate from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry in May 2009 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of St. Bede Academy, Peru, IL. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Benedictine University, Lisle, IL in 2005 and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University, Kansas City, MO in May 2008. She is employed at Elite Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy in Kansas City, MO.
A March 14, 2009 wedding ceremony and reception is planned in LaSalle, IL and a May 23, 2009 reception in Copeland.
