Larry and Debbie Schmidt are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Jamie Schmidt, Spearville, to Eric Wells, son of Tina and Rex Carlson and Layne and Dee Wells, Derby.
Jamie graduated from Spearville High School and is currently employed by Andover Veterinary Clinic.
Grandparents of the bride-to-be are Lawrence and the late Margie Nietling, and Shirley and the late Arnold Schmidt, all of Spearville. Great-grandmother is Regina Israel, Dodge City.
Eric graduated from Augusta High School and is employed by Johnson Gage Inspection, Wichita.
A Sept. 6 wedding is planned in Wichita.
