Duane and Kaylin Salmans of Dodge City are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Kristina D. Redus, to Christopher A. Carnahan, the son of Charlie and Jane Carnahan of Kiowa, Colo.
Kristina is the granddaughter of Ella and the late John N. Dyck of Cimarron and Lyle and Donna Salmans of Jetmore.
Chris is the grandson of Freda and the late Allen C. Carnahan of Kiowa, Colo., and Margaret and the late Frank J. Tillman of Colorado Springs, Colo.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Dodge City High School and earned her associate’s degree in applied science from Cameron University in Lawton, Okla. She plans to attend a school of radiology in the fall.
The groom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Kiowa High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in ag business with a minor in animal science from Cameron University. He is currently employed at the family ranch in Kiowa, Colo., where the couple will make their home after the wedding.
The wedding will take place July 5 at the outdoors chapel of the Peaceful Valley Boy Scout Ranch in Elbert, Colo., with a reception to follow at the Elbert County Fairgrounds.
