Schaffer - Bertram

    Rick and Joann Schaffer of Dodge City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren to Kraig Bertram II, son of Kraig Bertram Sr. of Overland Park, KS and Dede Curran of Belton, MO.
    Lauren graduated from Dodge City High School in 2001. She earned a B.S. in journalism and a B.A. in english from the University of Kansas in 2005. She is currently employed as a Senior Media Buyer at PlattForm Advertising in Lenexa, KS.
    Kraig graduated from Blue Valley Northwest High School in 1997 and earned a B.S. in biology from Kansas State University in 2003.  He is now in his third year of medical school at KCUMB in Kansas City and plans on pursuing a career in pediatric medicine.
    The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. on August 15th at Church of the Ascension in Overland Park, KS, with a reception immediately to follow at Deer Creek Golf Club, also in Overland Park.
