Rick and Terry Sloan of Dodge City are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie, to Jacob Mauslein, son of Biff and Barb Mauslein of Hiawatha.
Stephanie is a 2003 graduate of Dodge City High School. She received a bachelor of arts degree in history from Kansas State University in 2008. She will graduate in August with her master's degree from KSU in security studies. She is currently employed as a legal secretary in Manhattan.
Jacob graduated from Hiawatha High School in 2003. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Washburn University in history in 2007 and a master's in political science from Kansas State University in 2009 and is currently a Ph.D. student in security studies at KSU. He is employed as a graduate research assistant at the university.
An April 3 wedding will be held at Danforth Chapel on the KSU campus in Manhattan.
