Bluegrass music enthusiasts from everywhere are invited to the 21st Annual KBA Winter Bluegrass Festival at the Marriott Hotel, 9100 Corporate Hills Dr. Wichita on Friday, Feb. 19, and Saturday, Feb. 20.
The show features six nationally known bluegrass bands, a Junior Showcase and workshops, plus plenty of pickin’ and jammin’ by attendees.
The award winning Lonesome River Band has been one of the most popular and influential acts on the bluegrass festival and concert circuit since the release of their breakout CD, “Carrying The Tradition,” back in 1991.
Lost and Found formed in 1973 became quite popular playing bluegrass festivals, with Allen Mills' exceptional songwriting contributing much to the group's fame; "Love of the Mountains," recorded by the original lineup, has become a contemporary bluegrass standard.
