DODGE CITY —

The current exhibit at the Carnegie Center for the Arts showcases the work of area artists ages 65 and over, and the variety is impressive.
Painting, photography, quilt making, beadwork, needlework, carving and doll making are all on display.
The exhibit is part of a project sponsored by Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America. Local winners advance to compete against winners from all the Manors. A calendar is published each year featuring the work of the top artists.
Originally the competition was only open to Manor residents. In recent years, however, the competition has been expanded to include work by any artist over the age of 65.
