Man undertakes journey to help nonprofit organization

    “I've always been attracted to the simplicity of traveling on foot,” Stalls said in an interview Friday in Dodge City.
    Stalls said he enjoys scenery, the homeland and the mountains of the country have to offer and he said walking was a great way to take in.
    He began his journey March 1 in a little town in Delaware and will continue across the United States until he reaches San Francisco. He and Kanoa walk for about 15 miles each day.
    “I hope to reach, to get there sometime by mid-November,” he said.
