  A Dodge City man suspected of participating in the May 27 shooting of Walter Lopez was charged Wednesday with aiding and abetting attempted second-degree murder.
    Other charges against Jesus Sanchez-Gutierrez, 19, include three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count each of shooting of an occupied dwelling, incitement to riot, conspiring to commit battery and conspiring to commit riot.
    The potential sentences for those offenses range from 30 days in jail to 38 to 172 months in prison, depending on Sanchez-Gutierrez's criminal history, if any.
    In a related case, Sanchez-Gutierrez was charged with obstructing a felony investigation for his alleged attempt to flee from police Monday night. The obstruction charge carries a possible penalty of five to 17 months in prison, depending on his criminal history.
