Artists age 65 and older are encouraged to participate in the 2009 "Art Is Ageless" exhibit and competition. This year marks the 29th juried exhibition. Sponsored by Presbyterian Manor, rules and entry forms are available by calling Patty McGee at (620) 225-1928.
Entries must be received by Aug. 4, and judging will take place Aug. 8.
Winning local entries will be sent on to advanced competitions and eventually 12 national winners will be published in the 2010 Art Is Ageless calendar.
Entries in the local competition will be on exhibit at the Carnegie Center for the Arts through Sept. 8.
