YOUTH GYMNASTICS

    Five girls represented Janet Smith's Dodge City Gymnastics at the Great Bend "Fun in the Sun" meet on April 5.
     Savannah Tasset, Level 2, age 6, placed first on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around. On balance beam, she placed second.
     Four girls participated in Level 4. Madison Laudick, age 8, placed fourth on uneven bars as well as all-around. She received fifth on beam and floor exercise and seventh on vault.
     Alexis Estrada was in age group 9B. She placed first on floor exercise, second on balance beam and eighth on vault and uneven bars. Alexis placed fourth in all-around.
     Britney Bogner and Kaisha Batman both participated in the 10C group. Britney placed fourth on beam and fifth on vault, uneven bars, floor exercise and all-around.
     Kaisha placed first on vault, floor exercise and all-around. She placed second on uneven bars and balance beam.
     Tayler DeWeece competed in the age 12 group. She received first on uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise and all-around. She took fourth on vault.
     The team received second place, with nine teams participating.
