BH and BH Club
The BH and BH Club met on Thursday, May 1 at Casey's Cowtown for its regular meeting.
The featured speaker was Marilyn Crane, she gave the lesson "Healthy Choices, Eating Out." Each member did the activity 'What is your menu choice?" by checking the lower calorie choices from four menus. The fact was presented that Americans eat out more than ever, which uses 46 percent of the food budget.
Research has shown that the more often a person eats out, the more body fat one has. Delores Hudson opened the meeting by telling "What I loved this month about May."
Nine members answered roll call with "My Mothers Advice."
The next meeting is at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 5 at Marilyn Crane's for a family covered dish picnic.
