David and Janice Kane, Dodge City, would like to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Sue, to Justin Daniel Diehl, son of Janet Holthaus, Gardner, and David and Marlene Diehl, Olathe.
Grandparents of the bride are the late Elbert and Agnes Kane, and the late Ivan and Reba Kolbeck, Spearville. Grandparents of the groom are Dan and Janet Diehl, Seneca; Leo and Nikki Holthaus, Lincoln, Neb.; and the late Reva Holthaus, Baileyville.
The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Dodge City High School and a 2000 graduate of Manhattan Technical College. She is currently employed as an accountant with FairPoint Communications, Dodge City.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Gardner Edgerton High School and a 2000 graduate of Fort Scott Community College. He is currently employed as a firefighter with the city of Dodge City.
A June 21 wedding is planned at St. John the Baptist Church, Spearville.
