HOLY CROSS LUTHERAN CHURCH (LCMS)
The divine service on Sunday will lead us in seeing our daily lives under the cross and bearing fruit for God. In the union of holy marriage, a man and a woman are joined together in life until death parts them in the eyes of God. The church as the bride of Christ is united to Jesus in death that leads to life. God teaches in Romans 7:4-6 that the one who believes in Jesus is united in Jesus' death and resurrection to belong to Him, with the resulting reality that we bear fruit for God. We look at our lives of dying and living in Christ daily and the new life of the Spirit by which we gladly offer ourselves to God.
We'll have a coffee and bake sale before and after our services this Sunday, 6/29.
We're looking ahead to the 4th of July!  Come join us (be sure to invite your families and friends, too) for the annual July 4 fireworks celebration. Our church grounds are a popular viewing area —  we have a prime spot for a "closeup" of the fireworks which will be shot off from east of the middle school and north of Memorial Stadium. We will be providing hot dogs, chips, water and/or soda for a free-will donation, with the proceeds going to our local mission assistance fund. This fund is available for individuals and families in our community needing short-term assistance for the necessities of daily life. We plan to set up near the south lower front entrance to the church. See you there!
Our worship services are at 8 and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, with Sunday school for children and adults at 9:15. We are located at 2200 Third Ave. Come join us!

Ingalls Community Bible Church
Hymn Sing Sunday, June 29! Ingalls Community Bible Church is excited to be hosting several other churches for a hymn sing this Sunday at 6 p.m. This should be a great time of fellowship and praising the Lord together as we sing favorite hymns, share some special music with each other and enjoy socializing over refreshments following the program. You are invited to attend!
We at Ingalls Community Bible Church would like to welcome you! The morning worship service starts at 11 a.m. You will find that we are a small, friendly church in love with our Lord Jesus. We believe there is absolute truth and it is found in the Bible, the inerrant and inspired word of God. Our goals are to grow closer to God, grow closer to each other and grow the kingdom of God.  Our traditional-style service includes praying together and singing hymns and praise choruses. Pastor Tom Harmer has been teaching a sermon series on Galatians, and this week will be in Galatians 1:6-1O.
The whole family is invited to our family Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. We are now in a series, "Firm Foundations: From Creation to Christ.” This unique Bible study systematically lays a solid foundation for both the Gospel and Christian growth. These lessons follow God’s pattern of progressively revealing himself and his plan of redemption within the context of history. Beginning with Genesis and progressing through the Old Testament and the life of Christ, you will learn the key themes of the Bible and get to know the character of God. This study answers the most significant of all questions: "How can I be accepted by God?"
At Wednesday evening prayer meeting (7 p.m.), we are discovering ways to grow in prayer. We sing, have a short teaching and pray together. Following prayer meeting (8:15 p.m.) is a time for those who enjoy praising the Lord with their instruments to practice as part of our orchestra.
Lydia's Circle meets once a month for the women and girls to encourage one another through Bible study, service and fellowship.  The men's breakfast for the men and boys meets about once a month to strengthen and equip warriors for Christ.
We invite you to join us as we grow in the knowledge and love of Jesus our Savior!  Through Jesus we come to our heavenly Father, where we find grace and mercy to help in all of our needs. The Father has lavished a great love on us that those who receive Jesus and believe in his name may become children of God!
