The city of Dodge City will accept household hazardous waste from its sanitation customers from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday.
Customers may take their household hazardous waste items to the Community Recycling Environmental Waste/Keep Dodge City Beautiful recycling center, located at 715 E. Military Ave.
Items that may be dropped off consist of auto care products, used motor oil, antifreeze, cleaning products, paint products, preservatives, personal care products, pesticides, fertilizers and household batteries.
Regular business hours for the Ford County household hazardous waste facility, located at 10972 113 Road, are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Appointments may be scheduled by calling 227-4525.
