Members of the Ford County Sheriff's Office are currently investigating two fights that occurred early Sunday morning, which led to the hospitalization of at least four males with various wounds, including stab wounds.
Sheriff Dean Bush said Ford County deputies arrived at 10791 Kettle Way at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday after reports of a fight were called in. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a party was taking place. After the first fight, Bush said, residents removed those involved in the fight from the house.
A short while later, another group of people arrived at the home and a second fight involving baseball bats, sticks and knives ensued. Four males ranging in age from their early to mid-20s were transported to Western Plains Medical Complex by private vehicles.
Bush said the first call about the fight came in shortly after the victims arrived at the house.
One victim was taken to Wichita to be treated for wounds, Bush said.
Although there are a number of victims and possible suspects, the sheriff's office has not released any names or information pending more identification. Bush said those involved in the fight refused to be cooperative.
It was unclear whether the fight was gang-related.
