Dodge City —

The Dodge City Fire Department is investigating a possible arson in a mobile home park.
The fire department received a call approximately 11:45 p.m. late Wednesday night reporting a Mobile Home fire at Lot 13 of the mobile home park at Agnes Street and Minneola Road, said Fire Capt. Jim Spencer.
Spencer said the blaze started on the exterior of the mobile home. The fire itself caused only minimal damage to both the interior and exterior, but there was extensive smoke damage inside the home.
According to firemen at the scene, a single woman occupied the house but was not hurt. Several attempts to contact her Wednesday night and Thursday morning were unsuccessful.
The fire did not endanger any other homes.
Spencer said the cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
"The fire is still under investigation, and the cause of the fire may be arson, but we are still under investigation at this time," he said.
