DODGE CITY —

The Dodge City Commission will host a public information meeting today about the wastewater treatment plant, proposed to be constructed approximately one mile north of the city limits.
The meeting will run from 4 to 6:30 p.m. in the basement of the Mariah Hills Clubhouse, 1800 Matt Down Lane. The public will hear presentations from: Professional Engineering Consultants, the company hired to update the city's wastewater master plan and provide guidance on future wastewater needs resulting from the casino, the special events center and community growth; ArchitectureDenver, the consultant hired to compile information for the city's comprehensive plan; and OMI, the company that currently maintains the south wastewater treatment plant.
The commission's regular meeting will follow at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 806 N. Second Ave.
The commission urges the public to attend this meeting at Mariah Hills and become better informed about the proposed wastewater treatment plant. If you have any questions, please feel free to call City Hall at (620) 225-8100.
