Dodge City —

    The city's ban on fireworks will be temporarily lifted for the July 4 holiday weekend, starting July 3 and ending July 5.
    Fireworks will be allowed within the city limits from 10 a.m. until 11 p.m. each day of the three-day weekend, except on public property. In other words, no fireworks in the Civic Center parking lot during the community-wide  celebration on July 4.
