    Employers are encouraged to attend this informative workshop to learn about the latest updates on workers compensation, unemployment insurance and labor law that can minimize business owners’ exposure to liability. The seminar will run from 2-5 p.m. June 5 at the Beth Tedrow Student Center Endowment Room at Garden City Community College.
    Featured speakers include Carol S. Cast, employers services coordinator, and A.J. Kotch, chief legal counsel for the Kansas Department of Labor. Topics covered will include workers compensation benefits, required forms, reporting time frames, an overview of workers compensation regulations and statutes, and a summary of interpretations from administrative law judges.
    There is no charge for this seminar; however, pre-registration is required by May 30.
