Benefit set up for local man

    Jesse Ontiberos, Jr. a local Dodge City man, who has been paralyzed for 30-plus years; had been hospitalized in Wichita since Feb. 27 until his recent release.  
    Jesse has suffered a long and debilitating illness that has left him bed ridden with serious wounds requiring professional wound care. The long hospitalization and required aftercare has posed a heavy financial burden on the family.  Friends and family have organized a benefit fund to help with the costs of Jesse’s long hospital stay and continued aftercare. A Jesse Ontiberos, Jr. benefit fund has been set up at the Sunflower Bank to help pay some of the past, present and future special medical equipment and medical and travel expenses the family has and continues to face.
