Cargill to award 350 scholarships for class of 2009Cargill, in collaboration with the National FFA Organization, announced Wednesday that it will award $350,000 in scholarships to high school seniors who plan to enroll in post-secondary education next fall and live in areas Cargill has operations.
The program will award 350 scholarships of $1,000 each. In addition, each high school will receive a $200 grant.
Scholarship guidelines and applications are available at www.cargill.com and ww.ffa.org.
The application requires the signature of a Cargill employee from the local community.
Applications are due Feb. 15, 2009. Scholarships will be awarded in May 2009.
