Democratic committee elects officers

The Ford County Democratic Committee met on Aug. 14 at Democratic headquarters in the Village Square Mall, Dodge City, for the purpose of electing officers to serve for the next two years.
    Kansas bylaws for the Democratic party require that each county committee meet within two weeks after the primary elections for the purpose of electing officers and delegates to the district committee. Persons entitled to vote at this meeting are the precinct committee people elected in the recent primary election.
    The officers elected on Aug. 14 were:
    • Chairman: Larry Blake.
    • Vice chairman: Dorothy Faulkner.
    • Secretary: Richard Stein.
    • Treasurer: Aldia Revel.
    • 1st District delegate: Larry Daniels.
    • 1st District delegate: Lindy Duree.
    • 1st District alternate: Ron Reinert.
    • 1st District alternate: Nancy Blake.
