Both DC3 golf teams are hanging in there early in the national tournaments while DCHS boys golf qualified for state.

DC3 Men's Golf

After one day of the NJCAA Golf Championship at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Dodge City sits in eighth shooting a seven-over 295. Sophomore Witchayapat Sinsrang and freshman Mason LaGrange are leading the way for the Conquistadors with a one-over 73 which puts them in a tie for 18th. They will tee off for day two in the afternoon today. 

DC3 Women's Golf

After the first two days of the NJCAA Women's Golf Championship, the three national qualifiers for the Lady Conqs are within the top 32 individualists led by Orakorn Thiryatorn with a eight-over 89 and a 161 over the two days which puts her in a tie for 23rd. 

DCHS Boy's Golf

The Red Demon boys golf team is headed to state after qualifying on Monday at Carey Park Golf Course in Hutchinson. Dodge City finished second shooting a 320 with Garden City taking first with a 300 and Wichita-East placed third with a 333 which qualified all three to compete for a state championship at Auburn Hills Golf Course in Wichita. Adam Kessen led the way with a 79 finishing 6th followed by Matthew Vogel and Luke Gleason who shot a 80 which was good for 7th and 8th place respectively. Dylan Ratts and Payson Hatfield shot an 81 with Ratts earning 10th place honors. Canyon Owens rounded it all out with an 86. The team shot 12 strokes better than the last time they competed at Carey Park for the Hutchinson Invitational earlier this season. State will take place on May 22nd.
