1 Lagoon Concert

Casey Donahew will be playing at the Long Branch Lagoon tonight with the gates opening at 7:30 p.m. with the concert starting at 8:30 p.m.

You must be 21 and older to attend.

Lagoon officials have confirmed that swimming will be allowed during the show, but the giant slides will not be open and the wave pool setting will be set on low.

Donahew is an up and coming staple of Texas country music who recently began receiving nationwide recognition.

Tickets range from $25-$35.

2 Pub Crawl

The Mingling for Main pub crawl will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. tonight with funds from the event going towards Dodge City Main Street for the Eisenhower Park improvement project.

The route for the pub crawl will be between Central Station, Guymon Petro Bar and Grill and Boot Hill Distillery.

Buses donated by Central Station will run continuously between the three locations.

Eisenhower Park, located at First and Gunsmoke, has served as a gathering space in the downtown district for more than 30 years.

The planned improvements include shade sails around the edges, new benches, several upgrades to the existing shelter and landscape improvements.

Cost for the crawl is $30.

3 Feast

First Presbyterian Church at 803 Central Ave. will host a brisket dinner fundraiser today from 3 to 7 p.m. with the funds received going towards the Friendship Feast.

According to Friendship Feast kitchen manager Sarah Speakman, this is the first year to hold the brisket fundraiser.

"This is our first year and we are looking forward to making it a tradition," Speakman said. "What better way to enjoy a wonderful meal for an amazing cause."

Cost for the feast is a $7 minimum donation.

4 Live at the Longhorn

The Friday concerts continue at Boot Hill Casino and Resort in the Longhorn Room.

The event is free to the public but you must be 21 years old or older to attend and will feature Charlie Williams Experience starting at 8 p.m.

5 Belle

The first 150 children will be able to have breakfast with Belle from Beauty and the Beast today from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Dodge City Public Library.

There will be a breakfast followed by stories and songs by Belle. No registration is required.

The Depot Theater Company partnered with the library to host the event leading up to next week's Depot Theater production of Beauty and the Beast.

6 Farmers Market

The Farmer's Market will run from 7 a.m. to noon and will be located along Front Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue in downtown Dodge City every Saturday from June through October.

7 Dive-In Movie

Long Branch Lagoon will be playing the movie Space Jam Saturday at 8 p.m.

Admission is $4 for all ages.

According to Long Branch Lagoon facility director Cheyenne Schellhamer, during the film the only area open will be the lap pool.

"All features are turned off and people will get a tube to take to the lap pool to relax and enjoy the film," she said.

8 305 Sprint Car

Two nights of racing kicks off tonight with the 305 Sprint Car Series at Dodge City Raceway Park.

Tonight's race starts at 8 p.m. with Saturday’s finale beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults tonight then $20 for adults on Saturday with children 11 and under admitted free when accompanied by an adult.

9 Biker Breakfast

Starting at 8 a.m., the American Legion in Bucklin will be hosting the Bucklin Biker's Breakfast Buffet on Sunday.

Tickets for the breakfast are $8 for adults and $4 for ages 12 and under.
