The A's pick up two wins on Wednesday as they beat the first place Liberal Beejays 4-1 and 10-3.

You can find the recap of the first game in Thursday's paper but the second game ended after our print deadline. 

The Beejays got off to a 3-0 lead after four innings but a six run bottom of the fourth broke the game open for the A's. 

Dodge City added on one run in the bottom of the fifth and three more insurance runs in the bottom of the sixth to wrap the game up. 

Right fielder Kaimana Souza led the team in hits with four while designated hitter Josh Crosby led the team in RBIs with three. 

Starter Kurt Johnson went the full seven innings, allowing three runs on nine hits with seven strike outs. 

Wednesday's wins moved the A's wishing a game of first place.
