1 Family movie at DCPL

From 2 to 4 p.m., stop by the Dodge City Public Library to enjoy the LEGO Batman Movie. All ages are welcome.

“In the irreverent spirit of fun that made The LEGO Movie, a worldwide phenomenon, the self described leading man of that ensemble LEGO Batman stars in his own big screen adventurem,” read a DCPL Facebook post. “There are big changes brewing in Gotham, and if he wants to save the city from the Joker's hostile takeover, Batman may have to drop the lone vigilante thing, try to work with others and maybe, just maybe, learn to lighten up.”

The movie is free for anyone who would like to come.

2 Dodge City A’s game

Come out to Cavalier Field on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 7 p.m. to see the A’s take on the Derby Twins.

3 Live at Longhorn

The Friday concerts continue at Boot Hill Casino and Resort in the Longhorn Room. Tonight’s show features country music by Wesley Michael Hayes. The event is free to the public but you must be 21 years old or older to attend.

4 Brothers of Third Wheel

On Friday, the Brothers of the Third Wheel will be in town. The trikers will travel to the salt mines in Yoder with a chuckwagon dinner, show and gun fight at Boot Hill Museum at 6 p.m. At 9 p.m., there will be a light parade throughout downtown Dodge City.

On Saturday, a breakfast will take place at the VFW Post #1714 from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., then a trike show will take place later that day from 1 to 4 p.m. at Wright Park. At 6 p.m., a dinner will be held at Hoover Pavillion from 6 to 7:30 p.m. followed by an awards presentation and a charity presentation. Then at 9 p.m., there will be a dance.

On Sunday, the BTW week-long trip will wrap up at a veterans memorial and Honor Guard

at the 9/11 Memorial in Wright Park.


5 Farmer’s Market

The Farmer’s Market will run from 7 a.m. to noon and will be located along Front Street between 3rd Avenue and 2nd Avenue in downtown Dodge City every Saturday from June through October.

6 Coffee with a cop

Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., come enjoy coffee with the police officers of Dodge City. There is no agenda or speeches in line, just a chance to visit, ask questions and voice concerns to local authorities while also getting to know them. This will take place at Green Bean Coffee Co. 7 Dodge City Raceway Park

Come out to the Dodge City Raceway Park at 7:30 p.m. Saturday to watch the Lewis Automotive Night Weekly Racing Series. Tickets are $15.

8 Bucklin Biker’s Breakfast

Starting at 8 a.m., the American Legion in Bucklin will be hosting the Bucklin Biker’s Breakfast Buffet on Sunday.

Tickets for the breakfast are $8 for adults and $4 for ages 12 and under.
