ServiceMaster hosts community event at Wright Park on Friday.

ServiceMaster joined the Dodge City community 9 years ago this Friday. After many years of success, ServiceMaster is eager to thank the Dodge City community for all their support.

On Friday, ServiceMaster will be hosting a community appreciation event at Wright Park from 2 to 8 p.m.

“I am new to the company and I think that we need to be more involved with the community,” said event organizer, Samantha Roecker. “This is a great way for us say thank you for everything that the community has done for us all these years.”

There will be a grill-out with drinks and giveaways at the event.

“We will be grilling hamburgers and hotdogs with chips and a cookie and a drink,” said Roecker. “We will have lots of giveaways including loaded backpacks, a couple of kids bikes, some water park tickets and some carpet cleaning packages. We’ll have Q97 live and La Ke Buena live.”

Additionally, Roecker says that there will also be games and activities available for the children.

“We brought a bounce house in, and I’m also putting some kids games together,” said Roecker. “We’ll have a pool noodle toss, tic tac toe, a bean bag toss and just some little games for kids to do.”

Roecker encourages the entire community to come out to Wright Park on Friday, stating that it is free to the public.

“Come out and bring your whole family,” said Roecker. “We just want people to come out and have fun and let us thank them and tell them how much we appreciate them. For anyone interested, come on out and have a good time and we’ll see what we can do for them.”
