KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Despite taking 11 shots and holding KCKCC to three shots, the Conqs fell to the Blue Devils by a score of 2-1 on Sunday afternoon.

Begona Rodriguez Bravo scored the only goal for the Conqs, while taking four shots. Siobhan Longmore also took six shots on the day but was unable to put one in the back of the net.

"We have some things to fix for us to be the team that we want to be," head coach Steward Bortey said. "We are still a good team. Things just didn’t go our way today. We know what we are capable of, we know what we can do. It’s always a great day to be a Conquistador."

Dodge City moves to 1-2 on the year and will not be in action again until Saturday, Sept. 2, as they travel to Ottumwa, Iowa to take on Iowa Lake Community College at 4 p.m.
